the front page of my site needs updating - new links adding to front page also links taken out.
i need a header and footer adding - i have designed this myself it just needs blending and sharpening up a bit.
also need a new text page uploading and other front page text & boxs needs adding with roll over text, also need some small images adding to front page with text added on top of them(i have all the images)
Navigation area needs moving and again some links adding and taken out. Need company contact details added near the footer area.

i have a budget of $110 dollars and thats it.

My site, www.loghomeexchange.com is a real estate listing directory where people can list their log homes for sale. The 2 outstanding problems with the site, are both with the listing fuction:

1) The image upload script does not function correctly. When you add a listing to the site you can include pictures of your property for sale. The script lets you go through the process of uploading a picture, but the picture never shows up. I don’t know if it actually ever gets uploaded or not.

2) The 2nd issue is with the Featured listing option. The site currently offers 2 types of listings. A Standard listing which is currently free and a Featured listing which you have to pay for and gives you more prominent exposure. I’m not sure if the problem is because it is a Featured listing or because it is a paid listing. I use PayPal for the payments. The payment goes through fine and all the confirmations are received from PayPal, and you can add your listing to the site, but the listing doesn’t show up on any of the searches unless you search by that specific listing ID. So the listing is created, but never gets put were it belongs? Sorry, I really can’t be more specific, I don’t understand what is wrong.

It would probably be helpful if you understand the PayPal purchase process to make sure that there is not a problem with that and it would be helpful if you had a PayPal account so you can test the Featured listing function.

Let me know if you have any questions. Unfortuately, I don’t understand from a technical point what is wrong, I just know from a functional point of view. I can provide some more (not much, but some) specific information to the person that I select and accepts to do the work.

Programmer must have skills to design database to meet the required tasks. A very good knowledge of PDF technology and fonts is very much a plus.

Please quote a per hour rate and estimated hours to create:
HTML Form with 30 fields
database to hold data for all fields plus some user info (MS Access may be used to model the data)
ASPPdf virtual PDF displaying submitted reults in plain english
e-mail (asp-email) forwarding the results to administrator.

The Database is simple. Just the one table, and i have attached the one to use here.

There need to be 3 main parts to this system:
1. A page for someone to enter user data into the database, or edit data of a person currently in the database.

2. A mail merge that contains the info on the Customer in a similar format to that as is in the attached document. (Replace the data in [] with that from the database). This also needs to be editable by the person using the system. What it will be is to send to all clients an e-mail with details of special offers (entered by the administrator of the system).

3. A page that sends all the e-mails out, using a specifiable subject to each person, but each e-mail address can not be seen by anyone else, so maybe the e-mail addresses will have to be put in the Bcc: field?? and combine this with the mail merge.

I know that I have not really explained this project particularly well, so if there are any queries, please just ask.

Please dont just copy and paste in responses, cause that is not what i need. i need a personalised service.

I have just though of 2 extra small things to clarify for the description

1) It needs to be possible to have a logo at the top of each e-mail sent out. The image will be stored on my web server, and then can be linked to from the e-mail.
2) It would be good if possible to also store in the database (a new table would be required) the previous e-mails that have been sent out before, and maybe when creating the e-mail, get the option of creating a new e-mail (i.e. typing all the text from scratch) or changing one from before?? Maybe a drop down box?

Just really a bit more food for thaught.

If you can think up anything else that may be advantageous to the project, please let me know.

I have a client that we developed a site for and we need to connect to his Local Multiple Listing Service.

The project pretty much looks like this.

We need to import listings from the MLS (user name and password provided of course) into his site.

I have a PHP application that does it but this wont work on a windows server with MS - SQL

1) ASP or .NET connect to the MLS which I will provide login details for.
2) Import and extract the MLS data which is in ZIP format.
3) Populate and update the DB on the target system with matching fields.

If this is not enough information PLEASE PLEASE ask before you bid.
I have the field (row) maps for the DB and can create any field in the tables you want.

I am new to MySql and web design. So I need a help. Here’s my problem:

I have a program made in Visual basic that extracts certain data from a website and inserts them into MySql database of local computer. Now, I want my website to take data from this database.
For this, I guess the MySql database must be uploaded to my website’s ftp. Now, please somebody teach me following things:

1. How should I connect my Visual basic program to manipulate MySql database which is on ftp. And also where on ftp should I place the database.

2. How should I code my ASP script to take data from this database.

The above solution is just my guess, I dont know what may be the actual solution. But I hope you will understand my problem and give a solution.
