My idea was to create a small Java application, that would store the keywords, take it and substitute it into a Google Search URL, capture all relevant search URLS and save in a page saved with the date and the keyword.

We have a very small budget and are not sure if we will have takers.. but here goes as the programming should be straightforward with a knowledgeable project leader

Users will be able to visually see the list of available files with a browsing experience as duplicative to the Classic Windows Explorer style of folder browsing as possible. They would then have the ability to access and retrieve the files back to them when and where needed (anywhere they can connect on the internet and login with security).

At the time of upload, the files will be scanned for Viruses, and if infected will be rejected with a notification message flagged to the user.

When the files are sent back, they are to be in a zipped format, using the file extension ".bak".

There is to be monthly fees, and additional costs if the MB storage capacity is increased.

A final stage of the project will be a basic web site that is directed towards product description, membership registration and payment information, legal disclaimer, contact information, and how to use the tool with answers to the most commonly asked questions.

Anticipated bid to be around $1,500 to $2,000.

Once bid is accepted, detailed specifications and daily contact will be provided and expected. After project is complete and delivered, software will be wholly owned by US and/or others who joins in to buy together. Payments will be paid through escrow and payments will be paid out in stages as described completely in detail before project is started.

In other words, I will have a few webpages already built, for example:
390029.html. The program/script will "check" the file to see whether I have already created 390029.html, and if so the program will not create a duplicate, but will create all the other files based on the remaining number sets (unused numbers) as an output file pretending to be the 6 digit file called.

The idea is that by entering a 6 digit number into a box on my website, visitors can then be transported to that page. I have a special form to enter the numbers via buttons, so some modification my be necessary.

I would like an online game similar to the old classic Stunt Car Racer. This game was most popular on the 1980/90s computer Amiga.

Here’s how I would like it:

1) To be played on a web browser on a website, with Multiplayer feature.

2) 3D graphics but very very simple. Possible no textures just flat shaded (will discuss this later)

3) One of the best features of the original game was that it’s game engine was perfect. i.e. the car handeling, suspension, car speed, vertigo feeling from a big jump etc. I would want to retain these game dynamics.

4) I would want an option to ad pictures (jpeg) in the gaming enviroment via some sort of admin section so all the game players can see the picture images as they drive by.

Unfortunately I have a low budget (under $500) I am willing to pay more than that if you can accept monthly installments.

I’m not sure if Flash is the best platform to use for this as I require 3D graphics (Simple 3D) and multiplayer feature. If you are sure Flash is appropriate than that’s ok. I will also want copyrights to the game and it’s source code.

Attached is a photo shop sample of what we want.

The Flash well have something a little different, we want the slogan:

to come in like someone is hand writing it on the screen, once the full slogan is written on the screen in a hand written style we want it to fade directly into a typed version of the slogan.

Then at the corner of the flash banner we want this written in handwritten style:

This will come in last and also come in in the same way as if someone actually was writing on the screen.

The menu bar above will be done in JavaScript and will include drop down menus to access sections within each of the categories. Also on this java menu we need some nice little icon animation just so give some interaction when uses open the java drop down box.

This all has to be built to fit into the same space that the sample image attached is and it the finished product must be able to fit into our current website in place of the attached image.

Any question please post and also people who posts working samples on the above will get preferance to those who just post "we can do it".

The software must be language file based and automatically (on startup) check for updates online.

If possible there must be a function that converts an image to a .swf and then installs it as a wink.

I prefer the software to be written in VisualBasic 2005.

ok here is my sitiuation I have a
point of sale system that I have built that works over the internet using vb.net / MS SQL I am trying to finish it up and the only thing I really have left is the receipt printer
after a sale is made I have a button that saves the receipt in SQL as a record with all the items purchased

the problem is that when a button is clicked on the screen I need to have it trigger the receipt printer to print out a copy of the receipt / kick out the cash drawer and so on

so far with registry entry changes on the local machine and with the help of a batch file I have it set up so I can click a link (on the receipt page hosted on the server) from the local machine which triggers a bat file that prints txt files that are on the local machine and kicks out the drawer and cuts the paper the only problem I have been having now is how can I get the items purchased to the printer

some options that I have thought of so far are
1. make the server save a txt file to the local machine with the items purchased and have the bat file print that out also
or
2. send which items were purchased as variables to the batch file

with option 1 I can’t find a way to save the txt file to the local machine without human interaction or with out prompts coming up and with option 2 the limitations on how long a variable for a bat file look like it might be a problem because I need to have it dynamically change the number of lines that are used

i repeat that the whole app is voice based.The user will not type anything.

The input data will include:
Videos
1. Up to three AVI uncompressed files at likely 10 fps (720 X 480)
2. An equivalent number of key files which will list (video_name|framenumber|index)

2D Data
3. Up to four 2D arrays (float) containing the data to be viewed. Each array will be the same length and width, and will be very rectangular. That is, an array may have only 40 rows, but up to 500,000 columns
4. A key file which will list (columnnumber|index)

1D Data
5. Up to five 1D arrays (float) containing line graphs to be viewed. Each 1D array will be the same length, and will be the same length as the 2D arrays
6. The same key file as used for the 2D array will be valid for the 1D arrays

We require a viewer which will display up to three video frames, along with a segment of all four 2D arrays (image mapped using a provided color map file, so for example -32767=red, 0=white, +32767=blue, and all interstitial points are interpolated to an RGB color). An example of such a color map file is included.

In addition, the line graphs of the 1D arrays will be displayed. All displayed data (2D grids and 1D line graphs) will have the same height on the screen.

The segment to be displayed will be +/- perhaps 500 columns on either side of the index value being viewed (screen centre). We then need a scroll wheel placed at the bottom of the screen which controls the index value, and drives all of the videos forwards or backwards (one frame at a time based on the key file showing index vs. frame number), as well as drives the plots of the 2D and 1D arrays back and forth.

All source data will be located in the same directory. Not all three videos or all four 2D arrays or all five 1D arrays will be available each time the program is run. Thus, allowance should be made for files not found (blank area on screen). Ideally, the user should be able to select which videos, 2D arrays and 1D arrays to display.
