Description of the application:

The application is a member registering client.
Users are registering or login in with my site via this exe application instead of registering on the site itself.
The application is used for a php website running on MySQL db and linux server.
The app takes care of registering new users to our db by collecting the user’s nickname, password, e-mail adress etc.. + the application gathers information on the user’s hardware config in order to create a guid.
All this info is encrypted and then sent to our db and is used to create the user account.

Main functions of the app are:

Upon registering, the app gathers info from the user’s local machine’s hardware in order to create a guid.
3.Ecryption:

Data is send using html form and goes through an internet browser application (IE)
4.Login:
User can login to the site through this app., send data is encrypted here as well.

Job description for this project:

1. The app. must work regardless which popular Internet browser (IE - Firefox - Netscape - Opera ) is used on the user’s pc ( seems that the registering process fails when user does not have IE-Internet Explorer installed )
If the problem does not come from the internet browser then i need you to find and fix the problem.

2. Some e-mail formats doesn’t seem to work or are not accepted with the app. This has to be fixed.

*3. Current guid function does not support hardware configs using SCSI or RAID controllers, this has to be fixed or propose an alternative and quick solution to be able to give users with such hardware configs the possibility to register.

*4. Improving guid function. New solution will have to work regardless which hardware config a user may have or Windows OS is running (major OS versions).

5. Create a new function: I want to have a new function which is to update a user’s current account. Basically, if user is not recognised anymore by the website because he made a change to his hardware config, he must have an option to update his account details by sending an account update request to the site.

*6. With an eye for next improvement project here on GAF after this one has been completed I would like:
- to be advised or informed which possible security measures can be used to reduce the risk for this application to be altered or cracked by "hackers" or limit their possiblities to fool the app itself.
- Give me a quote for converting the ‘guid function’ used in the app. into a .dll.
- Discuss and provide a quote for a new function that i want to add in the application.

I tried RSVPing for an event, and i typed my home phone it worked.
please make sure people can use their last name (not case sensitive which is how it is currently), and their home phone, OR CELL PHONE.

also, it looked like this. It found me, it was correct, and still said cant find me in the database.
Also, instead of saying cant find you, can you make it so it says something which we can configure from a global config file? Thanks.

Once its all perfected, we need data from a few excel files imported into the database. (its the info of all the members of the youth group)

You have to get the IP’s from the SQL database table based on their highest credits which are defined in another sql table.

Now you have to connect to the registrars sites which are defined at the end of this document then change the name servers of the domains with the IP’s taken out from the sql table.

You can create ns.php and link to admin area (admin.php will be provided to u). What ns.php will do is allow admin to add/edit/del registrar user login info and domain. Also our cron job script (I’ll provide) will update the ip’s only to the name server domains which were assigned in ns.php where ns.php will go to other registrars site login and will edit 5 NS records which are ns1,ns2.ns3.ns4,ns5 remotely via our php script.

Like if I have 3 domains and i am using them for ns1 and ns2 etc I will goto ns.php and will add those domains into it with the registrars login info so the script can login and modify automatically and remotely after a cron is run.

The Registrars to be remotely controlled via php scripting are below: ( NOTE : The user names and passwords I will provide can also be changed via admin area of ours as the php script will use these info to login but if I change the login info from the registrar it will be easier for me to change the login info for our php script. )
